FIRING CLUB
Welcome to the LNC Firing Club!
This is a very casual firing service, where you will be notified up to 1 month prior the firing to have your work ready.
Electric (oxidation) firings will include but are not limited to:
Bisque
Glaze (Cone 6 & 9)
Overglaze
At a flat rate of $12/kg
You will be added to a WhatsApp group chat to be notified of these firings. This group chat can be used to discuss all things pottery, a safe space to learn and get to know other local artists.
Work is to be dropped off and picked up from my home studio in Noranda, 6062.
If you have deadlines, you may request a firing. However if there is no other work in the kiln but your own work you will be charged for the full kiln load, $250.
T&C's
Once pieces are in the kiln, I am not responsible for the outcome of the pieces. If work is damaged due to other's causalities in the kiln (a piece explodes and causes damage to your work), unfortunately it is not my responsibility.
No refunds will be issued —the construction integrity of pieces being fired is on the owner.
I will only fire greenware to bisque once it is completely dry. If it arrives wet it will be put aside for the next firing.
Cleaning Fees
If glaze runs and sticks to shelves a fee of $150 per a damaged shelf will be charged.

Be Kind and Courteous —treat everyone with respect.
No Hate Speech or Bullying —make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
No Spam —spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
Respect Everyone’s Privacy —being part of this group requires mutual trust. Do not share anyone’s contact information without their consent.
If any of these terms are violated you will be removed from the group.
Invoices will be sent via email and must be paid prior to pick up.
Payments are accepted via bank transfer or cash.
