Really enjoyed the Wheel Throwing Workshop. I've done wheel throwing workshops before but I learnt SO MUCH MORE at Lien's workshop. Lien was very very patient, generous with her knowledge and guidance, and just so lovely to spend the day with. Highly recommend her workshops!

I signed up for the 3 hr wheel throwing lesson to start with as I'd never done wheel throwing before. I had a great time and learned a lot so I decided I wanted to do a few more lessons. Lien offers 6 week courses that I had considered in the past but the availability never suited my schedule. I asked Lien about this and she was very accommodating so I was able to have lessons at different times and on different days spread out over 12 of so weeks instead of 6. This means I didn't have to miss out on something I really wanted to do so I really appreciate Lien's flexibility. The lessons themselves were really great as well. Lien is a very patient and skilled teacher. She showed me the basic skills so I was able to practice and from there she would give me pointers and I could see immediate improvements in my work. Lien offers a course structure with different focuses each week but I was also able to let her know if there was something specific I wanted to work on. As a beginner, I was happy to try anything but I am sure those with some wheel throwing experience would be able to learn a lot from Lien's teaching. Thanks very much Lien!

Lien is the BEST! I couldn't have picked a better mentor/ tutor to build my confidence and skills in all things pottery/ceramics. I highly recommend her for her charisma, enthusiasm, skill and teaching ability. Also, her patience is next level! Personally, I love her relaxed, calm and fun loving energy and space. She's not a gate keeper, she’s a true teacher who is passionate to help her students thrive!

Other things that stand out are her amazing ability to teach what she does. Lien is certainly a well oiled machine. All her students work are proof of how well she teaches in such a short time. She's just awesome!

Lien is one of the most patient, kind and encouraging teachers I’ve had in any discipline. She is friendly whilst also holding herself to a high level of professionalism. I would recommend her classes to anyone that wants to try a new skill or find a new creative outlet. Whether you are a fresh beginner or a seasoned professional, you will learn something new. I enjoyed every second of my 6 week course and never left my class without a smile on my face.

I had the pleasure of attending both a three-hour one-on-one wheel throwing workshop and a six-week one-on-one pottery course with Lien in Perth, and I can confidently say that her teaching skills and patience are truly exceptional. The courses included all materials, tools, kiln firing and glazing. She was very accommodating to my learning style and adjusted her teaching methods to suit my needs.

Her approachable and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities. She was incredibly patient and provided me with a lot of guidance and feedback. I was able to learn at my own pace and felt supported every step of the way. Lien took the time to talk me through any issues or challenges I encountered, helping me troubleshoot so that I could practice and improve.

Overall, I highly recommend Lien as a pottery teacher. She created a supportive and comfortable environment that allowed me to explore my creativity and develop my skills. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from her and look forward to continuing my pottery journey under her guidance.

Amazing way to spend a day. Lien is a great teacher, fun and bubbly. Down to earth personality makes the environment so relaxing. Laughs and learning. 100% recommend and worth the value.

Lien’s workshops are absolutely fantastic, I first started with Lien just as a once off class however, after the first class I knew I wanted to book more sessions with her so I booked the 6 week course with her. The workshops are tailored to the student and I found the classes to be really relaxing and fun as well!

You can't find a better teacher than Lien. She easily adapts to the student and doesn't force people to learn just one technique. If something is not working for you, she guides you to figure out what will be the best approach to get the results you want. She's chill, patient and caring. Always putting the student first.

Her ceramic pieces are also so beautiful and you can really tell how much care she puts into them. Super high quality. I love every product I have from her!

Booked a 2 people session this round and I'm amazed how well Lien juggled attending to the both of us on the wheel and handbuilding! Lien is very supportive and guided us very well along the way on the pieces we wanted to achieve. Very fun and chilled, highly highly recommend her :)

Brilliant and small group experience, highly recommend.

I had followed Lien and her work on Instagram for a while and was already a fan. From her pottery videos and seeing the results of her student’s work from her regular classes, I genuinely knew that Lien was going to be a fantastic teacher, and I was not disappointed. Her students always seem to produce brilliant results for their first time on the wheel, which is incredibly impressive. I have had lots of different pottery lessons before and had found that my previous teachers encouraged me to throw their way and their way only. This often left me confused. Lien helped me to find my natural strengths to get comfortable on the wheel and I’m proud to say I threw my best work ever with her by my side. She is calm, friendly and supportive - I wish I could throw with her all the time!

I took the 6 weeks course with Lien and she is a really patient, knowledgeable and understanding teacher. She was able to teach me new techniques while making it fun and light hearted. Pottery itself isn’t an easy skill but she makes it fun and carefully watches to make sure that every step is done well while explaining everything thoroughly and easy to understand.

High recommend Lien’s courses for anyone looking to learn more or try throwing on the wheel for the first time!

Wow we loved this private class, and even managed to produce some interesting and functional pieces which we can't wait to pick up later! We would like to have another session with Lien - she was a great teacher and we would like to explore wheel throwing a bit further.

I loved doing my 6 week course with Lien! She is so incredibly patient and makes you feel so comfortable when maybe you're not a natural 😅 if you are thinking about booking in, definitely do so! I am FIFO and doing classes with Lien was great as she made the time to be flexible. I think she is one of the few, if only one, offering FIFO plans. I had so many laughs doing this course, the hours would fly by. Looking forward to booking in again with Lien in the future. Thank you so much again, Lien!
