I had followed Lien and her work on Instagram for a while and was already a fan. From her pottery videos and seeing the results of her student’s work from her regular classes, I genuinely knew that Lien was going to be a fantastic teacher, and I was not disappointed. Her students always seem to produce brilliant results for their first time on the wheel, which is incredibly impressive. I have had lots of different pottery lessons before and had found that my previous teachers encouraged me to throw their way and their way only. This often left me confused. Lien helped me to find my natural strengths to get comfortable on the wheel and I’m proud to say I threw my best work ever with her by my side. She is calm, friendly and supportive - I wish I could throw with her all the time!

Lien is one of the most patient, kind and encouraging teachers I’ve had in any discipline. She is friendly whilst also holding herself to a high level of professionalism. I would recommend her classes to anyone that wants to try a new skill or find a new creative outlet. Whether you are a fresh beginner or a seasoned professional, you will learn something new. I enjoyed every second of my 6 week course and never left my class without a smile on my face.

Amazing way to spend a day. Lien is a great teacher, fun and bubbly. Down to earth personality makes the environment so relaxing. Laughs and learning. 100% recommend and worth the value.

Lien’s workshops are absolutely fantastic, I first started with Lien just as a once off class however, after the first class I knew I wanted to book more sessions with her so I booked the 6 week course with her. The workshops are tailored to the student and I found the classes to be really relaxing and fun as well!

You can't find a better teacher than Lien. She easily adapts to the student and doesn't force people to learn just one technique. If something is not working for you, she guides you to figure out what will be the best approach to get the results you want. She's chill, patient and caring. Always putting the student first.

Her ceramic pieces are also so beautiful and you can really tell how much care she puts into them. Super high quality. I love every product I have from her!

I had the pleasure of attending both a three-hour one-on-one wheel throwing workshop and a six-week one-on-one pottery course with Lien in Perth, and I can confidently say that her teaching skills and patience are truly exceptional. The courses included all materials, tools, kiln firing and glazing. She was very accommodating to my learning style and adjusted her teaching methods to suit my needs.

Her approachable and friendly demeanor made me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities. She was incredibly patient and provided me with a lot of guidance and feedback. I was able to learn at my own pace and felt supported every step of the way. Lien took the time to talk me through any issues or challenges I encountered, helping me troubleshoot so that I could practice and improve.

Overall, I highly recommend Lien as a pottery teacher. She created a supportive and comfortable environment that allowed me to explore my creativity and develop my skills. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from her and look forward to continuing my pottery journey under her guidance.

She’s the most patient teacher ever! I had an amazing 6 week course with Lien, she’s sparked my love for ceramics. She’s articulate with her instructions and gives the best feedback for saving a piece. She’s also answered so many questions I had around ceramics. I’ll always be grateful for all that I’ve learnt from her. Couldn’t recommend her courses enough!

Booked a 2 people session this round and I'm amazed how well Lien juggled attending to the both of us on the wheel and handbuilding! Lien is very supportive and guided us very well along the way on the pieces we wanted to achieve. Very fun and chilled, highly highly recommend her :)
